Up for sale is a super cool Gibson built 1963 Maestro M216-RVT 1×15 Combo in its original grey tolex. I’m a big fan of the Gibson amps from the 1950s and 1960s and something about this Maestro is as cool or cooler, given the rarity factor and general vibe. This RVT amplifier features a 1X15 speaker design, tremolo and that unmistakable ghostly sounding reverb only found in old Gibson amps. Speaker is a Jensen C15P which is coded 220537 dating to the 37th week of 1965, it is period correct but likely not original to the amp. Visible pot codes are dated to 1963 and the power tubes are RCA Black-plates. Overall this one is very original less some replaced caps. Sounds wonderful!
