For your consideration a 2005 David King 6 String Bass with a Natural finish! David King is a luthier based in Portland, Oregon! After traveling around with his 11 pounds P-Bass, he decided it was time for a change! He designed a compact, light weight and extremely well balanced comfortable bass! This particular 6 String model is chock full of beautiful woods, perfectly contoured for extreme comfort! Bartolini pick ups and preamp give this bass big voice. Perfectly cut wooden covers for the battery compartments and electronics cavity! It even has a little built in tuner! Super cool bass from a fantastic local luthier!


This bass is all original and in excellent condition. Comes with a non-original Fender hard shell case. 2-1/8″ brass nut width. 34″ scale length. Five piece neck, Walnut, Wenge and Chakte Viga. Neck depth of .75″ (1st fret) .87″ (12th fret) and .95 (20th fret). Pau Ferro fingerboard with a 10″-16″ compound radius. 24 narrow tall frets in excellent condition. Butter nut body with Buckeye Burl figured top. Set of Bartolini pick ups with NTMB-918 preamp. Built in Wittman Tuner. Weighs 8 pounds and 8 ounces.
