For your consideration a 1978 Greco Mercury Bass PB 500 with a Black finish! Once a well kept secret, seems like the cat is out of the bag and Greco has a bit of a cult following for their wonderful interpretations of classic models! This made in Japan P-bass is a fantastic example of what that factory was able to produce! Only modification is upgraded CTS pots and orange drop, other than that it all original and even has its pick up and bridge cover! Excellent condition frets, awesome action! It a real looker as well!
This bass is in very good condition and comes with its original hard shell case. 1-5/8" nut width. 34" scale length. Maple neck with a depth of .84" (1st fret) and .99" (12th fret). Rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius. Action measures 6/64" bass side and 5/64" treble sides. 20 jumbo frets in excellent condition. Most likely Basswood body finished in black. Original split coil pick up with non-original CTS pots and Orange drop. 70s style 4 saddle bridge with pick up and bridge cover. Weighs 9 pounds and 7 ounces.
