Wow. We never see these pop up! 1998 Collings D2H Baa AV in a lovely Style 2 Sunburst finish. Getting Collings to make anything with Brazilian Rosewood nowadays is impossible. This one checks all the boxes for a top of the line Dreadnought from Collings. Adirondack Spruce top, Herringbone purfling, Sunburst finish and "Dalmatian" pickguard. Beautifully grained AA Brazilian Rosewood back, sides and peghead veneer. Vintage "V" neck profile with a 1-3/4" bone nut. An absolutely stunning guitar that sounds every bit as good as it looks.
Overall in very good condition. It has obviously been played, but well cared for and never abused. Surface pick-scratches, but no glaring dings or wear through the finish. 25.5" scale length, 1-3/4" nut with. Neck depth measures .865" at the first fret and 1.18" at the twelfth. Action set to 5/64" on the bass side and 4/64" on the treble. Aftermarket Fishman sounhole/mic blend pickup. Weighs 5 pounds 6 ounces and comes with its original hard shell case.
