Description

Up for sale is an amazing 1933 Gibson Century of Progress L-C in its original sunburst finish.

This L-00 size guitar has had a neck reset in its life, crack repairs on the top and a near invisible heel crack repair. This instrument sounds lively and is a wonderful example of one of Gibson's most iconic guitars from this era.

This LC was to of the line when it was introduced in 1933 as an example of Gibson's heritage and used state of the art manufacturing techniques such as the MOTO fingerboard and headstock overlay.

This guitar plays and sounds great. Very loud and powerful for a small body guitar, well balanced with lots of top end. The neck is a chunky pronounced V shape and the nut width is 1.780" (45.2mm)

Comes with a non original chipboard case and a pro setup by our in house tech.

Weight: 3lbs. 10oz.
