Description

Introduced in 1932 and only available until 1945, the Gibson L-00 forged the sound of an era. This one in particular is a truly exceptional sounding guitar with a V-shaped mahogany neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and the original brass tuners. An instrument this special doesn't come around too often.

In Good Vintage condition with normal wear for an instrument of this age, including some finish checking, edgewear, and scratches. This guitar is structurally sound, and has a few surface cracks (mostly on the back), but none go through the wood. There's a good amount of finish loss on the back of the neck, and a few divots in the fingerboard around the second and third frets. If you have any questions regarding the condition of this guitar, please feel free to reach out to us here at the shop.

Freshly inspected and set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us to ask any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
