Description

Freshly set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech, this 1937 L-00 3/4 size guitar is dialed in and ready to go.  In Good vintage condition with normal wear for an instrument of this age, including scratches, dings, and natural aging of finish and parts.  The guitar is playable but would benefit from a neck reset.  Also the top is bellying up behind the bridge and we believe it would be advisable to remove and re-glue the bridge.  There is a glued top crack extending from the fingerboard to the soundhole which is a common occurrence on vintage acoustic guitars.  There are some cracks below the bridge which are not glued but are stable.  Lastly, there is an impact fracture on the back which has been glued and cleated.  See below for more details and specifications.

Notwithstanding the issues described above, this is a rare and beautiful guitar that is well worth the investment of some TLC.  The guitar has been priced with the condition and needed repairs in mind.  Please feel free to contact us at the Shop for an in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings.  Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so.  We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument.  Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
