If you're looking for the real deal, this is it. This is an unbelievable vintage Jazzmaster made in early 1959, just about one year after Fender launched them for the very first time. It even has the original gold anodized pickguard, making it one of the last examples before Fender switched over to celluloid pickguards. Everything on this one is original except the nut and the pots, and the original pickups sound incredible. The leads on the neck pickup were spliced and the pots were changed in 1978, but the original capacitor is still in use. Complete with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, an era-correct tweed hard shell case, and awesome playwear and aging that even the best relic job couldn't match, this guitar is a true treasure of electric guitar history. 

This guitar is in Good Vintage condition with significant finish wear, fading, and areas of loss; in other words, it looks just how a sweet vintage Jazzmaster should.
