Description

Up for sale is a 1964 Fender Duo-Sonic II in an old Olympic White body only Refin. Upon a first glance the finish on the body looks original, is very old and to an untrained eye could pass as original. Upon further examination there is evidence of the original Daphne Blue finish in the neck pocket and pickup cavities and this one also has a pearloid guard rather than tort which you typically seen on Olympic White Duo Sonics. Weight: 6lbs. 12oz.

This guitar features an L serial plate, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with clay dot inlays, A sized nut width, Kluson double line tuners, Neck stamp dates to SEPT64A, pot codes are . This one is entirely original less the body finish and one of the pickup selector switches. Lots of fun and sounds great. Pro setup in house and comes complete with its original hard case and a neat vintage strap.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings.  Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so.  We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument.  Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
