Description

Up for sale is a 1965 Fender Jaguar refinished in Burgundy Mist Metallic w/ a matching headstock. The finish on this one looks fantastic and although we cannot confirm who did the finish or the type used (nitro vs poly), it looks amazing and nails an unfaded BMM look. Finish aside this guitar is largely original showing a 1MAY65B neck stamp, original L serial plate (name etched into it, pearl fingerboard dots, original pots coded 1376519 dating to the 19th week of 1965, Kluson double line tuners, original hardware (less the bridge which is a Staytrem) and likely an original pickguard. The neck pickup is original, bridge is changed and is unmarked. This guitar is a lot of fun and at the price point of a modern Fender Custom Shop, why not go vintage?

Pro Setup in house and ships with a non original hardshell case

Weight: 7lbs. 13oz.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings.  Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so.  We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument.  Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
