Up for sale is a stunning 1967 Rickenbacker 360/12 in its original and vibrant Fireglo finish. One of the most recognizable Rickenbacker instruments, the 360/12 has proved itself throughout rock n roll history as one of the go-to electric 12 strings. This example features 360 body style with checkerboard binding on the back of the body, a slim neck profile with crushed pearl inlays, dual toaster pickups and Roger McGuinn signature on the pickguard. There is no proof of Roger signed this guitar, just what a previous owner noted. This instrument has had a professional refret done and at the same time the original truss rods were removed and repaired; both function as they should now. There also is a binding patch at the end of the fingerboard on the bass side of the neck and a tiny circular hole on the bass side of the headstock. The headstock "wings" show through and may have been re-glued at some point. Pro setup in house and comes complete with a newer Ric hard case. Weight: 7lbs. 6oz.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage products as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
