Description

Up for sale is a an incredibly cool and rare 1969 Fender Thinline Telecaster in its original natural finish. These early Thinlines are wonderful guitars and were only built for a few years before Fender switched to the Thinline Tele we see in the 70s. This example is largely original and is easily one of the most light-weight examples we've seen. The neck is stamped 3 09019 B, dating to 1969 and is a B sized neck. This example is entirely original less the pots, which are changed to 1980s Dimarzio 500k pots, and the nut. The frets are original but are quite worn and this guitar would benefit from a refret. Overall this one is fairly clean light some light signs of finish wear and play wear as well as a cool finish fade on the face of the body where the bridge cover would have sat. Pro setup in house and comes complete with its original hard case.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
