Freshly set up and inspected by our esteemed Guitar Tech, this cool old Lyle electric is playable but with some issues which lead us to sell it As-Is, and it is priced accordingly. We'll try to describe the issues below so you can make an informed decision.
This guitar is in fair cosmetic condition with all the dings, scratches, and finish fading you'd expect in a 50 year old student-grade instrument. The guitar appears to be mostly original and has a nice vintage vibe. See photos. The truss rod is no longer working. We've set the guitar up as best we can and it is playable but we can't dial it in to the extent we would normally do. The tuners and vibrato are functional but a bit wonky and you will experience tuning issues if you lay on the whammy heavily. Comes with a hard shell case.
If you have the skills to work on guitars, this could be a fun project to work on. If you have any questions, give us a call in the shop and we'll gladly answer them. But please understand that As-Is means no returns on this old sweetheart. Read below for more details and specifications.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage products as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
