Up for the sale is a killer 1971 Fender Competition Mustang in its original Competition Blue finish. I've always loved this model and this is an opportunity for someone to get one at a reasonable price. Neck is stamped 16MAR71B, visible pot codes read 3047107, original pickups are dated to 1971 and overall this one is largely original with all original parts, finish and body routes. So, why such a good price? A previous owner had sharpie signatures on the headstock and scattered over the body. Another previous owner attempted to remove it I presume with buffing and some form of acetone. There are faint ghosts of where the signatures were but for the most part they're gone. 

With the lights out, it's less dangerous! Although this one does not have a matching headstock, it is a whole lot less expensive than its Competition Burgundy brother with a matching headstock and is equally cool. Pro setup in house and comes complete with a non original hard case (no tremolo arm). Weight: 7lbs. 8oz.
