Looking at one of these earlier models, it's extra easy to see how the short scale Mustang Bass secured its enduring place in the hearts of bassists everywhere. The white finish has naturally aged to a yellowed cream color that gives this bass tons of vintage charm. It's even all-original, with the original split-coil pickup and pots dated to the seventh week of 1976.
