This example features a 5-11-85 neck pencil date, pots that date to mid 1981 and early 1982 (R1378131 and R1378209) and a "JC" sharpie mark under the control plate. This guitar has been played to death and has the wear / tear to prove it. Lots and lots of finish wear, finish checking / chips, small and stable bottom seam crack coming off the control cavity, etc etc. It feels awesome and sounds amazing!
