Up for sale is a killer 1982 Gibson 30th Anniversary Les Paul in its original all gold finish. This has to be one of the coolest Les Pauls we’ve had in the shop in the last few weeks and this is the first example of one of these 30th Anniversary LPs we've seen in some time. These 30th Anniversary LPs are rumored to have Brazilian boards and I must say the fingerboard on this guitar has some cool character in the grain. In terms of a humbucker guitar this one holds it’s own against any other Gold top we’ve had in and sounds fabulous. Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Les Paul Model, this guitar features two Tim Shaw ink stamped humbuckers, a one piece body and 3 piece neck with no volute. Interestingly enough, it’s actually set up more like a ’57 than a ’52, but very cool nonetheless. Overall in very good condition with the exception of some minor dings / dents, and finishing wear as well as a prominent ding on the face of the body. The cavity has shielding paint in it as well as an added grounding screw. The volume pots were changed in the early 90s and the guitar has been refretted / new bone nut.

Pro setup in house and comes complete with a 90s era Gibson hard case.
