Description

Up for sale is an absolutely killer 1984 Charvel USA San Dimas in Cobalt Blue. This guitar was picked up at the Philly guitar show this past weekend from the original owner who has had it since new. This is a real deal early production 4 digit serial USA San Dimas and absolutely shreds! Dual Duncans, gold Kahler tremolo, somewhat chunky neck profile that measures .83 @ 1st and .87 @ 12th. Neck pocked is marked 4.84 NL in black sharpie. The neck itself is glossy and finish wise looks much more lacquered than we typically see on Charvel instruments from this era. It feels great and is very smooth. Volume pot and pickup ring have been changed and there are a few finish touch up marks on the body with an off blue color. Scattered play wear and light finish wear but nothing major. Pro setup in house and comes with a period correct square unbranded hard case and tremolo arm. Bonus photos of the original owner with the guitar in the 1980s. Weight: 8lbs. 12oz.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
