Up for sale is a 1987 Ibanez JEM777-SK in Shocking Pink. Some guitars need no introduction! This early JEM shows what Ibanez was capable of in the late 80's. Personally I always dug the dissapearing pyramid inlays with the colored knobs and switch tip, what a cool guitar! This one comes to us in good condition from the previous owner with a few notes. First off - it appears that the pink finish has begun to fade on the face of the headstock. This is not uncommon for this model. All the electronics are original and the Dimarzio pickups sounds great! At some point in this ones life the Tremolo arm broke off and a replacement arm and threaded collar were added. For good measure the original arm is included though! Worth mentioning also, both sides of the neck pocket have some finish splits. This is not uncommon with an Ibanez of this era. Thee are some visible dings on the body, notably one on the top and a few on the back as well as some chips in the finish. Please see our photos for a complete cosmetic rundown. The frets look great though and have lots of life left in them. Get your Monkey grip out Steve! This one is Shocking Pink!
