Up for sale is a 1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Heritage Cherry Sunburst. Ive always felt that an 80's Les Paul standard is an overlooked instrument, some are really great! This one comes to us from the home of the previous owner in very good condition less some expected signs of use and play wear with a few additional notes. At one point the bridge pickup was removed and reinstalled. Somewhere along the way the tone pots were changed and a push push coil split was added to the neck pickup. Just press down to activate and press down again to get back to a humbucker. The strap buttons have been swapped for Schaller style buttons. There is little to no visible fret wear across the entire neck. This one plays and sounds great! Anyone looking fora. great deal on a late 80's Les Paul should consider this one.
Pro setup in house and comes complete with its original hardshell case.
Weight: 9lbs. 8oz.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
