Up for sale is a 1989 Jackson SL1 Soloist in Snakeskin. It's a special day whenever a really well kept soloist comes through the shop. This one comes to us from the home of the original owner in very good condition. I would venture to say that this one was not gigged and lived most of its life at home. Cosmetically the only major things to report are a very tiny chip on the point of the headstock which was colored in (likely a sharpie) at one point in its life and some very light marks on the back likely from a buckle. The original frets show a very small bit of wear as you would expect from an instrument of this age. Nothing which effects playability though and most of their life is left in them. This one has a killer 18v boost circuit as well for that extra bit of gain when you need it. Don't miss out on a killer slice of late 80's shreddiquette! Weight: 8lbs. 15oz.
Pro Setup in house and ships with its original hardshell case.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
