Description

Up for sale is a 1999 Fender Classic Series '69 Telecaster Thinline in 3 Color Sunburst. These are always a ton of value for the price tag! This one comes to us from the home of the previous owner in good condition. There are some nicks and dings, notably one on the top near the F Hole. There are also a few dings on the back. All of these are worth mentioning and visible in our photos. There is a bit of residue around the strap buttons, likely from being stored with a strap attached. None of these effect playability but are all worth mentioning. There is a bit of a chip in the face of the headstock as well. The frets do show a little wear, this one would benefit from a level crown polish as some point in its life. Anyone looking for a Thinline Telecaster should consider this one!

This one does not ship with a bag or case but has been given a pro setup from our in house tech! Weight: 6lbs. 3oz.

Details from Fender below,

The semi-hollow body design of 1968s Telecaster Thinline guitar was originally an attempt to reduce the weight of ash-body Telecasters. With its f-hole and reshaped pickguard, it was a truly distinctive take on Fender's first great instrument. The Classic Series '69 Telecaster Thinline brings it all back, with features including a lightweight semi-hollow mahogany body with f-hole, "U"-shaped maple neck with 7.25"-radius maple fingerboard, vintage-style single-coil Telecaster pickups and vintage-style bridge and tuners.

FEATURES

  • Lightweight semi-hollow mahogany body with single f hole
  • Maple neck with "U" profile
  • 7.25"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets
  • Dual vintage-style single-coil Telecaster pickups with three-way switching
  • Distinctively shaped white pearloid pickguard
  • Vintage-style string-through-body Telecaster bridge with three chrome "barrel" saddles

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
