Description

Freshly set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech.  This brand new guitar from Electrical Guitar Company (EGC) is a modern marvel.  Though inspired by Travis Bean guitars, these EGC guitars have their own design elements and proprietary construction methods developed by EGC.

Due to the transparency of the Acrylic body and the reflective nature of the polished Aluminum neck and fingerboard, it's difficult to capture these guitars photographically, but we did our best.  There is an etched competition stripe on the body that is visible in the photos if you look closely.  In person, these guitars look uniquely beautiful and under stage lighting they are truly stunning.

Feel free to give us a call in the Shop for an in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  See below for more details and specifications.

FROM ELECTRICAL GUITAR COMPANY (EGC):

Electrical Guitar Company was born out of a complete obsession of the aluminum neck and guitar world. This "world" was rather small 25 yrs ago, you could basically grab a Travis Bean and give it hell on the road. Then the unexpected, Travis Bean's shot up in value and in fear of my own guitar(s) getting stolen, I decided to make one by combining all my favorite parts of all the guitars I played into one and thus started EGC. Those who have had a chance to play an aluminum neck instrument rarely go back.

With aluminum, you are capable of generating some of the most beautiful tones.  Conversely, you can create some of the harshest sounds ever imagined. From Duane Denison to Tom Petersson to Ken Andrews, almost anything is available simply by the way you play and the response of the instrument. By making almost everything on the instrument in house, even down to the covers of the pickups, we have completely refined EGC and defined an entire category of instruments. Kevin Burkett continues the legacy of producing amazing aluminum instruments through Electrical Guitar Company.

The Series Five has a special place here at EGC. Any asymmetrical shape is fantastic, so we developed one of our own, which features a forearm relief standard on all versions.  Frequently requested as an EGC Custom build, the Series Five was another welcome addition to the EGC Classic line. The Series Five is available as a guitar, baritone or bass. The rear plate is powder coated with an industrial wrinkle black finish to prevent buckle rash. The control configurations offered for the Series Five are: 1 volume knob, 1 tone knob and 3-way switching with or without a rhythm circuit.
