In careful planning with our friends at the Fender Custom Shop we are pleased to offer the 1956 Thunder Road Stratocaster Journeyman Relic in Daphne Blue. This model has been in the works for well over a year and we are thrilled with the results. Each Thunder Road 1956 Stratocaster features a light-weight chambered & roasted alder body, hand-wound pickups that are slightly overwound to our specs, closet classic hardware, Custom Shop Exclusive RSD bridge, flamed roasted maple neck and a compound 9.5-12" fingerboard radius. We love these guitars and think you will too! If you are after a lightweight & resonant Strat that has the look and vibe of a vintage guitar with some modern specs, this is the model for you!
