ABOUT POMMELE SAPELE:

Pommele Sapele is a highly figured variation of Sapele wood.  Prized for its unique aesthetic qualities, Pommele Sapele, when present, is found only in the outer layers of the tree, providing limited yields, and therefore much more valuable and sought after.  The wood has long been popular for upscale applications in fine furniture, architectural woodworking projects, and other specialty items.
