For your consideration is this gorgeous brand new Waterloo WL-14 Scissortail in Satin Natural finish. We love the gorgeous flamed maple back and sides on this one, and, of course, the excellent Waterloo craftsmanship.
Freshly inspected and set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech.
FROM WATERLOO:
Drawing its name from the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher — a bird species common to the Central Texas Hill Country — the WL-14 Scissortail is a special edition WL-14 that pays homage to the "Oriole" guitars produced by Kalamazoo between 1940 and 1942. Built with maple back and sides and vintage-inspired X-bracing, the Scissortail brings excellent projection and focus to the flagship WL-14 series while retaining its woody, characteristic tone. A natural finish coupled with distinctive tortoise-style binding sets this instrument apart from other WL-14 models, along with an original Scissortail decal applied to the headstock in true-to-era fashion.
