Park.  See below for more details and specifications.

ABOUT THE MODELE ENCORE:

The design of the Modèle Encore is based on the later models produced by the Selmer Company of France utilizing four lateral braces below the soundhole.  This instrument features a long scale length, greater fret accessibility and the 'petite bouche' soundhole.

The bright, clear, focussed tone of this model along with 14 frets clear of the body make it and ideal choice as a solo instrument.  It also serves the rhythm guitarist well with a punch that will drive a rhythm section.

ABOUT SHELLEY PARK GUITARS:

Shelley's deep appreciation for the subtleties of fine wood combined with her affinity for acoustic music led her naturally to a career in lutherie. Her love of the music of Django Reinhardt further focused her lutherie skills, constructing guitars based on the original designs of Mario Maccaferri and the Selmer Company of France.

Shelley D. Park has been building fine guitars in Vancouver, British Columbia since 1991. She brings a wealth of listening and playing experience to her craft and her background as a rhythm guitar player has given her a long and intimate connection to the classic Selmer guitar sound. Exquisite craftmanship and attention to detail are reflected in every instrument she builds.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings.  Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so.  We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument.  Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
