In careful planning with the Jackson Custom Shop we are pleased to present the Jackson Custom Shop Thunder Mod San Dimas Nitro Relic.  These guitars are a true labor of love and we are absolutely thrilled with how they turned out.  This instrument was designed to capture the magic of the elusive Strat Head Jackson guitars of the early '80s which have become quite rare.  Thunder Mod comes complete with a full professional setup, Jackson molded hard case, Certificate of Authenticity, and the TRG Rock-n-Roll stamp of approval.

The Jackson Custom Shop Thunder Mod is exclusive to Thunder Road Guitars.  A true Pacific Northwest original instrument!  See below for more details and specifications.

The Jackson Custom Shop has turned out world-class custom guitars ranging from the fine to the fantastic ever since the Jackson name was first affixed to a headstock in 1980.  Jackson existed from its early days as nothing but a custom shop, building distinctive and meticulously crafted instruments for a very exacting clientele.  The modern Custom Shop proudly continues that tradition.

FROM LOLLAR:

The Stooges guitarist James Williamson left his T-Top-equipped 1969 Les Paul® at our shop so we could reference it to design our Raw Power™ humbuckers. The result is a more aggressive sound than you get with our standard Imperial®. The Raw Power™ has a perceived fullness due to its natural compression and the neck pickup is slightly hotter than the bridge pickup, like James’ original set.
