Description

Up for sale is a Used Merrill OM-18 in Sunburst. This high end Jim Merrill build was designed to replicate the tone, feel , and craftsmanship of the 1930's pre war Martin guitars. It features an Adirondack spruce top, flamed mahogany back/sides, hide glue construction, and a vintage sunburst finish, delivering a dry, balanced, and responsive tone. Cosmetically this one came to us from its previous owner in regularly played condition with a smattering of fine dings, fine scratches, and some finish issues. It should be noted that there is a center seam crack on the top of the guitar that was partially repaired with a small cleat just below the bridge. It does appear that it will need further repair in the future but it is holding up fine for now. This one is going to make someone super happy and is a total joy to play.

Pro Setup in house and ships with its original hardshell case

Weight: 3lbs. 12oz.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings.  Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so.  We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument.  Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
