Up for sale is a 1974 Fender Telecaster Thinline in 3 Color Sunburst. Personally this is one of my favorite models Fender produced in the 70's and are always to have a joy through the shop. This one comes to us from the home of the second owner in very good condition, as to be expected with an instrument of this age there are some scattered dings and dents. Notably the back of the body on the treble side horn has a pretty big ding. There are also a few others scattered around the instrument along with some light buckle rash on the back. Please see our photos for a complete cosmetic rundown. It's clear to see why this one was played so much though because it feels and sounds amazing! The Stamps on the bottoms of the Pickups read 190974 on both, at one point the covers were removed and reinstalled. The neck stamp reads 07031150. The original frets are still present and feel great and show minimal wear. The previous owner at one point did change the tuning machines to a set of Schallers which function great!
If you ever wanted a great deal on a 70's Telecaster Thinline now is your chance!
Pro Setup in house and ships with its original hardshell case. Weight: 7lbs. 11oz.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
