Description

Up for sale is a 1984 Gibson Flying V in Pearl White. This is one of my favorite finishes Gibson offered in the '80s and this one has aged to a killer yellow hue. Please see our photos! This one comes to us in good condition. There are lots of dings and dents and some splotches in the finish where the color did not darken evenly either age. There is finish checking present across most of the finish. The guitar does have a bit of nicotine scent as well. The original Tim Shaw neck pickup is present but the bridge pickup and its ring were both swapped. The new pickup is a double white Seymour Duncan but the label is obscured so we are unable to say for sure which model it is. This Flying V has tons of vibe and would be a wonderful addition to anyones collection. Weight: 7lbs. 2oz.

Pro Setup in house and complete with its original hardshell case

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings.  Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so.  We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument.  Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
